Jeb Bush stole the election in 2000. But Gore made several mistakes to let it be close enough to steal. and the Nader voters also made a huge blunder. if Nader had endorsed Gore instead of sticking to the lie that "Gore is as bad as Bush" GW Bush never would have been president. But Jeb Bush and his people definitely stole it. And many of those same people are working for Romney now. Vin Webber types. The big money establishment Republicans who don't mind cheating.

RE:"Wexler"

He organized busing from retirement homes and villages. Then told the people (and the busdrivers to tell people) to vote for no.2 on the butterfly ballot.

Which happened to be a vote for Pat Buchanon.
Needless to say Pat polled very, very well in Palm Beach county, the most liberal county in Florida.

Enough to throw the election to Bush in the state and the nation. Even Pat couldn't even explain it.
This emerged in the papers but Wexler was quick to head down to the election headquarters and blame republicans for hanging chads and fellow democrat Theresa Lepore, the election supervisor eventually chopping her out of a job.
