I think he'd accept the VP spot or try to advance towards Majority Leader in the Senate over the next few years. By the way, remember how I suggested the other day the possibility of a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton ticket with Edwards as Attorney General? A friend just called me and told me that Bob Novak wrote today that Obama has offered that slot to Edwards... interesting.

Seriously, I can't do it any more. Just thinking out loud... what if Hill gets the nomination and Obama ran as an independent? I think he could get most of the independents, many Dems and some Reps. Just a muse... Of course, I would vote for him.......but it has less to do with how much I like him and more to do with how the Clintons have behaved in the last few weeks. The thought keeps going through my mind.......you get the president you deserve. Well, in my family, if we disagree or we are competing for the same prize, we don't stick a knife under one's rib cage to get it. The Dems are 'a family' of sorts........for the Clintons that seems to be a meaningless arrangement. For them, its THEM against the world including their fellow Dems. Maybe it was necessary with the GOPers.....I am not sure now. However, it was definitely not necessary with the Dems and its leaving a bad taste.....at least in my mouth. I am totally turned off.
