We did some searching at the iTunes site and studied the movies and audio books sections. If you had one of those little buggers you could have rented a movie to watch on your flight home. I plan to get one at some point. Doubt I need an 80 gig unit though. I really like the styling of the new Nano and might consider one of those. I can see using it for music as well as books on tape (hard drive???) and maybe movies or tv shows. Speaking of TV shows, I read a review in yesterday's Wall St. Journal of the new HBO series, "Treatment." The reviewer raved about it and said it's a must see.And is Mom home with help I assume? She came home on Wednesday. On Tuesday we were discussing with the nurse what the discharge plans were, and she said the surgical team was hesitant to discharge her because every time they came in, she'd carp about feeling "miserable." I told her if she wants to go home, she needs to smile and say "I feel great! Ready to go home now." Actually, she needed very little pain medication. They sent her home with a prescription for percocet, and she is not even taking Ibuprofen.I doubt you would have left to come home if she was still in the hosp.........unless someone else was there to take up the slack. Don't recall whether you have siblings or not? I have two brothers and two sisters, all of whom live in the area, so they are there. Docs said she does not need someone there 24/7, but that having someone around most of the time for the first 2-3 weeks would be ea good thing.I can see me having the same problem as that old lady did when/if I live so long. She wasn't paying attention and got lost in the shuffle. It sounds like someone should have been with her, but of course none of her family or friends could have gotten past security without a pass. Poor gal! She appeared to be a pretty experienced traveler. I suspect she checked the readerboard, saw her flight was due out of gate B3, then lost track of time. My flight was originally due out of C-2B, and I was camped in that area. Noticed that they did not have the flight listed on the gate reader board and went to check the big display. Gate had been changed to B2. I really felt badly for her, but there was nothing for me to do, as they called my flight several minutes later. I hope she worked it out.Edit: Oh wait..........the lib sis that needs her head put on straight. Is she there? They're all libs. <ggg> And yes, she's one of them. She's much better. As for liberalism, my mom kept talking about the need for single payer health care in this country. Pointed out that all other countries but the US has it. She omitted that the taxes in those countries approaches 50%. I also pointed out that if she lived in Canada, and had an angiogram on 12/15, it's highly unlikely she would have been scheduled for surgery only a month later. Seeing how TSA runs airline security, would you want to see a huge government agency administer healthcare? Well duh.
