According to my list there are 205 porphyries worldwide with more than 200 million defined tons of ore.

Largest is in Chile. 17 billion tons. Grasberg is 4 billion.

Canada has 73 porphyries, with 35 more than 100 million tons. The BC porphyries are more economic than most because of infrastructure and water power availability.

Go nuts. XLS file.

Worldwide porphyry map. The location of the porphyries appears to be related to the ring of fire along the Pacific Rim and to Archon plate sutures in earthquake sensitive areas of the world.
