Slacker, I think you have it right. Which raises the question, what kind of people would deliberately create a "race" issue to highlight a candidates minority status and thus appeal to the dark side of voters? I think this is an illustration of a low character trait of Hillary which reveals why she would never gain the trust of a huge percentage of us. A president without trust will not likely create a climate for real change. She would, of course, undo some of the Bush damage but I wouldn't consider that real change. Ed
