I think should thoroughly examine your reliance on Puplava. His investment advice from my perspective is highly suspect and mostly based on ideology and his current emotional mood. There is a reason why he conducts his shows with John Loeffler.

One of the few people that I respect on his panel is Frank Barbera and even he has been wrong an awful lot though I really like his bottom gold calls.

The more you know the more you will discount Puplava IMO.

Now to the real issue I have with your post. Your dismissal of deflation as a possibility might feel good and you might like to be surrounded by people who feel the same. However, just as with Puplava, you are following your emotions instead of rational thought.

I am in no way insisting that deflation is upon us but to dismiss that there is a real possibility of deflation in today's environment is simply foolish and naive. Yes, deflation will be fought with all the tools government and the FED have at their disposal. As many on this board know, I have been and continue to be a bear on the dollar.

However, just look at the following two charts and concentrate heavily on the difference between 9/11 and today and then tell me that there is not a real possibility of deflation!

It might be a low probability but this definitely shows possibilities.
