programs that sounded sane have morphed. civil rights have gone from a level playing field to reparations. Do you think they could have sold reparation in '65?

I may not have expressed myself well. Unintended consequences of legislation are all over the place. Of course, a lot of them aren't unintended. they just don't tell us about them.

That's one of the most peculiar things I've ever heard. Have you forgotten what happened to JFK, MLK, and RFK? The Cold War? Kent State, Viet Nam? Haight Ashbury? Woodstock?


The sixties sprang out of the fifties, where were a steadier world, with a great deal of racial and gender oppression that it made sense to rebel against. Most of the 60s stuff you are remmbering came much later.
