It all made sense then, liberalism...and then it just spiraled out of control...pullbacks and all since then, reactionary periods...

I can see Nadines point if I understand it correctly. Real liberalism is dead IMO. It died when liberals stopped listening to ideas which were the main reason I was attracted to, what I now consider the dark side, when I was younger.
It took me a while to finally figure out that the majority of what liberals considered good had, for lack of a better word, subversive repercussions to society in general.....
