Recommendation: Get debt free, think about own ethics, not TJ's. ""Behappy"".Your abode is not a piggy bank.""I have what i need, why would twice as much be better.""<<gg>> should be our new motto.Learn from all on this thread.Pay attention to TJ's new hedge..not only.."buygold" but, to also, or maybe ""gather canned food and munitions.""Get close to mutated nature.<<g>>

>>It is really sad to see a guy after getting 3 degrees from Cornell only to loot and rob innocent people for his own survival ... sad sad sad

TJ believes, I think, that this is sport.

That these folks are going to be robbed anyway, if by no one else, then by the actions of their own government.

If they are foolish enough to let that happen, then, why let it go to waste?

He believes, I think, that there is great opportunity in all this, even as things crash and burn...

And in fact there is, for the daring.

As there was in Wiemar, and France many years ago. Same script, variations on a theme.

I am not as agile as TJ, and I do not think of it as sport. But I think he is mostly right... and if thinking of it as sport helps him or you navigate the eddys, and swirls, and rocks and waterfalls of this tumbling chaotic event, then why not?

Viewing as sport may also help keep one in a positive frame of mind, as little can be done to help those who will not be saved through their own inaction or ignorance, other than by educating them as to what he believes is the proper path... TJ is transparent as to the path he is taking, and largely transparent as to results.

That being said, none of us knows the future... and we all place bets on inflationary debt repudiation or deflationary credit collapse.

May the force be with you! (and us too) <grin!>

ultimately your fertilizer profits as are mine are coming out of someone else's pocket.. That's the market. Anyone that doesn't understand this is deluding themselves IMVHO. It's certainly not like you are going out, building a business and adding true value to the system.. When I write software I am, but not when betting in the market.. Of course spending your profits as a consumer will abet the onward march of economic growth..

The sad part is the obsession with "education" and the associated credentialism which misleads young people into wasting the best part of their lives on "getting degrees" which they have to have to get access to the cash flow.

Nearly all official "education" is a waste of money time and effort.

you feel sad? good.

you sense that i am sad? you are joking.

you think it is sad that the system, of which you are a full card carrying member, is sad? too bad, but there it is, enjoy it, or be looted and forced to quit the looting and be a happy serf.

you think that it is sad that some of us spend valuable time to buy expensive liquid-cooled pc so as to best loot from the deserving, as a sport, and as intermission entertainment between episodes of on-line unreal last man standing death match tournment, while enjoying a starbucks ice frappucino? tough.

i got my triple degrees the same way i loot, by treating it as a game, over a mere 60 months elapsed time, on merit scholarship, zooming in a scirroco and mazda rx7, partying, and relaxing in the sunshine, while dreaming about how best to loot from the deserving

in between episodes of doing value-added acts

taking from the deserving is also productive - spreads capital around
