In case you didn't notice, I've been working very hard to avoid that.

The "dissing" came from Mitts avoiding the issue. This is a person in real need. He tried to bring the topic into focus and Mitt ran as quickly as he could.

Medical users are being arrested every day in the US.

Again, it seems to me that Mitt is uneducated on the topic and wished to remain so.

What more should Mitt have done? Perhaps taken the time to look into this persons situation and looked to see how many others are impacted in the same way.

Instead, Mitt simply mouthed the DEA line and ran off.

(I certainly would *not* expect such a policy from a Hillary administration. In Bill's two terms he didn't do bupkis for decriminalization... and neither of them shows any inclination to move toward harm-reduction policies now, either. Probably because the Clintons are essentially Authoritarians, and consistently advocates for an ever-bigger and more powerful and intrusive central government.)
