McCain is probably the only one who can defeat them, so I will reluctantly support him as I think it is imperative to prevent a 16 years of Billary. Even the NYT seems to think so, it had a prominent op-ed piece recently making the point. I think you underestimate the appeal of Romney. I also think that you underestimate the amount of distrust felt towards the Clintons. It's even spreading to liberals now. I don't know about you but I've always been disgusted in an election year that inevitably ends up with you voting for the lesser of 2 evils. IMO Mitt Romney has a logical almost libertarian slant to his thinking that frankly most Americans should be drawn too.
