Unfortunately, I don't get paid in Euros or Gold. I get paid in US dollars and my income has not doubled since 2001.

Gasoline prices have almost tripled since Clinton, not doubled.
This was priority #1 for Bush-Cheney after they cheated to get into power. I heard this from a Texas oilman personally. It was all part of the plan.
