My response: did I mention that the white males broke for Obama, not Edwards or Clinton? But is that right? He still came in third among whites. Yes. She got a lot of the white women vote that acted as an offset.....more women voted than men in general. However, the margin of white votes between Obama and Clinton was not that great. I saw a break down..it was somewhere between 5-10%. Considering that's a conservative southern state, I find it rather remarkable that Obama did that well.
