If Obama was a Repub he would be the next Pres. As a Dem with very liberal views, he won't make it.
Possibly he'll see the political light and switch party. One of history's fav Repub presidents did exactly that--Ronald Reagan. The latter said he didn't leave the Dem Party, the party left him. That could happen to an intelligent man like Obama as well.
