Are you referring to the article about hobby miners posted on Kitco? I've met the local guy it quoted. Small-time mining is an expensive way to get gold, but some enjoy it. We do have lots of serious professional exploration underway for gold, molybdenum, copper, silver, lead, zinc, tungsten, tin, uranium, and even some platinum.

CB may not be interested in gold, but I think she would like our salmon, halibut, crab, and oysters.
