What did Al Qaeda have to do with Iraq?

There may have been some level of connection between Al Qaida and Iraq. There certainly was some level of connection between other terrorists and Iraq. But there isn't much connection between your question and my post.

In my post going after Al Qaeda wasn't suggested as a major reason to go after Saddam, or in to Iraq, but rather as an alternative to your idea of putting a lot more focus on OBL than the whole organization - "and catching that sucker is all I wanted"
