Mitt did the job as Massachusetts governor and in the Olympics. Both were salvaged from the ashes.

He also did it at Bain where, contrary to liberal opinion, the vast majority of his work was growing companies (adding jobs), not reducing them.

but squadron leader somehow just doesn't seem to compare with senior management experience within the economy itself...

A typical flight squadron is 18 aircraft. Not a large unit even if the maintenance crew is included.
