LIAR, we're talking about EX felons. EX-FELONS are the ones Bushies purged from the rolls in Florida 2000, and they deliberately purged ten times as many names as were actually even ever felons, purging everyone with the same name and similar birth date but never checking SS numbers. So all Alberto Gonzalez's got purged. All Leroy Browns got purged. This was deliberate. They got a lot of their fraudulent lists from the Texas governor's office. Guess who was governor at the time?

People who have already served their time deserve to be able to vote. They paid their debt to society. You don't think Nixon's cabinet members ought to be allowed to vote? What about Scooter Libby despite his pardon?

This is a racist issue for the rightwing. They know that most ex-felons tend to be minority so they want to keep them from voting. That's all this is and it's very unfair and un-American. The message is sends is that even those who have prison conversions and turn into saints will never be considered citizens again, even if they served 20 years for a crime they didn't commit. All rights taken away. That's not America, that's some kind of racist tyranny.
