It's a black underclass that has been fleeing for 30 years, with the LA Times doing all it can not to report it. Started in the late 70's when LA Unified went Hispanic. The blacks went back to the South. Now the Hispanic gangs are driving the black gangs out. killing them in the streets, killing them in the prisons, and the liberal press won't report it. that's 30 years of stuffing the news. Also, the blacks are just getting killed economically by the Hispanics. They fled south, now they're being out competed there. The demos are abandoning the blacks and the Black Caucus does nothing to prevent it or speak up for their constituency. The MSM is complicit; probably too blind to notice it. The black leaders are bought off by the Demo machine. Even dumber, the Repub. can't figure out how to take advantage of it. Instead, Karl Rove competes with the Demos for the Hispanic vote with open borders. Not one Repub. that I know of has made any effort to align with the blacks in favor closing the borders. You see this pattern in Florida, too. Maybe this will be an election of change, just not the way anybody expected. Put some new issue on the table.
