I have nothing but total respect for McCain. He served his country well and paid a terrible price for doing so. In my opinion, that does NOT qualify him for hero status. Wars produce numbers of heroes, most of them go unnoticed. McCain has had considerable publicity for his courageous acts. None, IMO, qualify him for the presidency. His words and actions in the Senate more clearly define him to be far more liberal than the candidate we need at this time.
