Reagan transformed the country in ways that seemed maybe not so bad, or even good, at first but then proved to be an expensive wave of corruption (S+L Debacle, Iran-Contra, huge deficits) but it wasn't until GW Bush that we could all clearly see that supply side economics, reckless corrupt corporate deregulation and tax cuts for the very richest are a terrible idea which never work. Oh yeah, and needless wars based on lies too. You know Reagan-Bush wanted Central America to be the nest Vietnam. democrats stopped them. And since then no Central American group has been any threat to us whatsoever. Nor was Saddam a real threat. So they coaxed the threat into being and then threw fire on it. Mainly though they just lied. And all for war profits and corporate control of third world semi-primitive rural nations. Pure imperialism.
