SocGen is perfectly stable, although it is now easier for an outside buyer to acquire them.

But the legal system in modern industrialized nations cannot be retroactively rewritten. It is quite different to the legal systems you are familiar with. This is one of the primary risks when investing in a nation like Brazil where laws are "flexible".
