"so al quaida and the other terrorist groups can declare victory" (That's ASSUMING that "al Qaeda" would "win" in Iraq... which they almost certainly WOULD NOT... i.e., Shiite Iraq [65% or so of the place] is utterly inhospitable to the Sunni fundamentalist group, for totally OBVIOUS reasons :-), and Kurdistan [another 20% or so of the place] is and will remain opposed to this Sunni Arab group, as the Sunni Arabs are the Kurds main current antagonist [after the Turks <g>] and their historical oppressor... and even the areas of 'Iraq' that I would call "Sunni Iraq", [likely perhaps to become a self-governing Sunni zone one day, or absorbed into a new 'Trans-Jordan' or some such] are only suffering the al Qaeda types to be acting as their 'shock troops' in their contest for power and wealth with the Shia new majority. Even there [once no longer of use to the Sunni tribal leaders] al Qaeda will be turned-on [or turned-in <g>] and massacred. A process some would say is already underway. AlQuida has training camps in Mexico RIGHT NOW! They have had for YEARS! Drug cartels from Mexico have had armies making armed incursions into the US for years now. The regular Mexican army has made several armed invasions into the US. As far as sixty miles into Texas. The Mexican government prints maps with directions about how to cross into the US. Yet George Bush has sent most of our army AND national guard half way around the world and left the Mexican boarder open to almost anyone that wishes to walk into the US. And in the process .. bringing our nation into economic ruin. Ron Paul wants to bring our troops home to close that boarder NOW. Which of the two has a serious grip on reality?
