True. Just go google the Chicago 8, or 7. They organized the riot. John probably knew 'em all. lol I gotta tell ya. The Convention inside vs Mayor Daleys cops brutalizing the protesters outside was surreal. The Democratic party was deeply divided over the war. Daley was booed for what was going on outside. HoHoHo got the nomination over Eugene McCarthy who was for an immediate pullout of Nam. OTOH, some of the Dems back then made GWB look like a pacifist.
