Elroy thanks for making the change.

I think Emile has already declared the contest
over and himself the winner. No need to have
to prove one's stock picking prowess over the
long run when all you need is a day to earn a
return greater than what most investors earned
in all of last year.

The stock list is sorting ascending.

And, for Player Portfolios, if you can insert a narrow blank column f so the % Change displays in column g, it will be a little more readable.

2nd, eh? Probably the highest I'll see this round. Sprinted out of the blocks and will be out of wind in another 50 meters.

I'm going to try to pay a little more attention here and trade according to the rules rather than making these LTBH. For example, in reality I lightened up on FMT and WPL yesterday to rebuy (more shares) on pullbacks. Both are trading stocks, though I also think they'll be trading higher at quarter's end.

The rules here aren't the methods I use in any of my accounts, but I believe that learning a new discipline helps your other disciplines.

And discipline is a very good thing.

Emile, if you see this, what made you pick AXR? All I know of it is a basic one-year chart I looked at after seeing you gained 17% with it in a day. Based on that chart, I'd say that's a pretty gutsy call. Given my preference for over-hated stocks with a good story (ELN at one time, OVTI, WPL, and FMT now), do you think this one would interest me?

The volatility looks good for trading, but not the volume. Looks like if you buy any of it, it's best to do so with the intention of keeping it for a while, as there aren't a lot of people clamoring to buy it from you.

One day does not make a successful investor.
