In the end, when it comes to Iraq, Mr. Bush’s annual addresses will be remembered most for his false claims — the fictitious “axis of evil,” nonexistent aluminum tubes and African uranium, dangerous weapons that did not exist. No president can want that as his legacy.

Mr. Bush still has a year left — and many serious problems to address. It is time, finally, for him to put aside the partisanship, the bluster and the empty rhetoric. The state of the union is troubled. The nation yearns for leadership.

Right behind the MSM's hatred of Bush is their hatred of Christians.

Man, 2 things have to happen really quick. The Republican party better decide who the hell they really want as a President. Someone with conservative values, youth, business savy, smarts and with a great and stable family, or an older man that served in a war, is cantankerous, has a decidedly liberal slant, has anger issues when confronted, has already completely misread the American people through his failed immigration bill......Could I go on?....<g>

The second thing that has to happen is Mitt has to convince them that he could cream the Clintonistas in an election. If the support of the party was given I believe the other would happen naturally.

This rift that's in the GOP is confusing and scary, and I'm an independent!.....<g> The party needs another Newt but alas none are in view....
