Well i think it makes good economic sense for them to raise funding from investors in exchange for a percentage of their profits. Its a Dhando principle. risk little gain a lot! It sounds to me that they are getting the land pretty cheaply too. Their latest purchases average out to $12,500 per site for raw land I dont know what their development costs are but if they can get $150000 per site they must be doing pretty well. their margins on land sales are purported to be 70%. but that sounds low to me. If you decide to look at it let me know what you think.
