Some religious cults do in fact blindly stick to their faith, even when presented with overwhelming evidence to the contrary

Could you offer an example of a religion (non-cult one per your choice) which DOES NOT BLINDLY STICK TO THEIR FAITH?

Faith is belief despite contrary evidence. As such, it is the bedrock of religion, and the anti-thesis of science. The Gods are always testing their followers by asking them to believe or do things that defy rational thought. For an example in Christianity, try reading and understanding the Faith chapter of the Bible (pick your translation) Hebrews 11.

Nutcase wackos are always claiming that science takes things on faith and they proceed to give idiotic examples, such as you have faith that the sun will come up tomorrow, you have faith that the plane won't crash, you have faith that the seat won't collapse, etc. It should be abundantly clearly to anyone but a moron that this is not faith, and that anyone who claims it is, does not know what religious faith is, and does not know what empirical evidence is either. In fact, I'd say they are denying religious faith. How sad that people who devote their lives to worshiping a God, don't even know what their God wants of them. Pathetic.

For the rest of your misunderstanding I'll give you an example of how stupid it is:

Prior to the American Civil war there were plenty of Whites, even Southern Whites who thought Blacks should be treated morally. Now, per your nonsense, those Whites were Black worshipers, their religion was one of worshipping Blacks. Nonsense.

People who think other species on the planet deserve moral treatment and that one species should perhaps work a little harder and not be such a blight for most other species does not in the least constitute a religion, anymore than the above example.

Are there people who do make religions out of animals or plants? Sure. But that does not mean they own the environmental turf, anymore than some wacko making a church to worship Whites or Blacks makes the moral treatment of racial equality a religion.

Finally, if you are even mildly awake, you should be well aware that by far the largest push to force religion onto others in the USA stems from Evangelical Christians. They make no bones about the fact that the USA was founded on Christian principles and they want to see those principles embodied in our legal system. Remember dingbat judge & his 10 Commandments? Who is it that keeps trying to hijack school boards to teach Creationism? Lets see, that would be the wacko environmentalists? Well, now buddy it is not. It is entirely a different set of wackos, much closer to your home thought I'm afraid.
