Bush-Cheney jacked up energy prices with their big oil cronies and gradually strangled our economy. But that was just part of it. How do I know this was deliberate? There was a tape-recording made right after Bush-Cheney cheated to steal the 2000 election. It recording was of Don Young (R) of Alaska a senator who is owned by Big Oil and a close crony of Cheney and Bush's. He made the argument that we've got to jack up the prices, over $3.00 per gallon. Why did he wants this? To make it painfully "worthwhile" to plunder the ANWAR wildlife preserve in Alaska. Also of course Bush's very close ties to Enron who engineered the 2000 phony energy crisis and of course Cheney's close ties to every pollutor and oil and war profiteer there is. These are evil people. Corrupt to the core.
