we are, after all, of the same quadrant when we tested our framework and points of departure on various issues by the standardized test

the fact that we end up on different points of arrival can be explained by the fact that you stand upside down

i wonder why cb ilaine went deeply silent when confronted with evidence of muddled thinking and/or prime evil intent

she thinks i enjoy sparring with her, firm and proper, whereas she fails to understand that i am impelled to fight against prime evil and guard others against great unthought - she feels compelled again and once more to make her regular appearance, perhaps because she feels the relentless hammering against prime evil and great unthought on this thread by all, and wishes to defend herself

she is right, i do enjoy sparring with cb ilaine, for it feels right

M,
That has certainly been the case in the USA.. and I imagine Canada would fare the same.. (< 10%)
ers.usda.gov

OTOH.. for investment purposes..
Middle income countries include South Africa (17.5 percent) and Mexico (21.7 percent). China (28.3 percent) and Russia (36.7 percent) are seeing rapid decreases in food expenditure percentages but are still relatively high. India (39.4 percent) and Indonesia (49.9 percent) are among the highest when it comes to the amount of disposable income spent on food.

It all points back to something Americans often take for granted.

"There are few other places in the world where you can get the diversity and the amount of food for the dollar you spend than the United States," says Searle.

So as those other countries 'catch up' on the income to food ratio and quality of food.. food prices will go up.. for now or balance out maybe is amore accurate..... I'm betting on the inputs for now.. fertiliser.. ... I have no idea what the world reserves of potash and phosphates are.. but for a few years hence at least there is not enough available.
