Why would telling the truth about someone's record be despicable?

Not when it's true, which is IMO a public service.

"Swiftboating someone is a despicable act, don't you agree?"

The term 'Swiftboating' is used with opposite meanings by different people. It's no surprise that you would use it in such a snake bellied manner. You are of course attempting to use the term to imply that I would agree to something that I obviously would not and you apparently find that humorous in a devient sort of way.

I find it admirable when groups of decent and concerned persons band together to expose the truth of deceits and corruption committed by elite or powerful persons.

I find it despicable that the clintons would use the power of their campaign to smear another candidate with falsehoods. It is obvious to everyone, that despicable conduct of the clintons is what Kerry was referring to and you have apparently been caught in your own web of deceit (as you always are and will be) by agreeing with Kerry's point.
