I'm thinking Micheal Gross of Marathon must have turned down several deals by now, why else the dump of shares and the huge time lag, unless he has something called "traders/deal" block. My concern by waiting so long he will take a crappy deal, say a busted auto parts/retailer that investors will give the "bronx cheer" to. No deals are getting done properly now except for the Endeavor deal done last summer in a favorable private equity time. This "blank check" concept is starting to look like a busted idea. With the smartest just shooting blanks.
