Strawberries can be grown in hydroponic systems in multi-storey buildings with ultraviolet light. The high CO2 content from people breathing would be good for them. The buildings could be carbon neutral. Varieties that taste nice could be grown instead of strawberries which look great, travel to market well, last for a week but taste like cardboard. They could be picked when completely ready to eat. Plant-ripened fruit tastes MUCH better than fruit picked weeks or even months too soon. Mqurice
