That's too old for me. Surely there is a 45-60 year old somewhere who can run the country.

McCain will be 72 in August. Looking at his mother who is 95 and in top shape, on the surface, it doesn't look like a problem.

I don't think age should be that big an issue if the person is healthy. The older you get the odds are more in favor of your dying unexpectantly but then last week there was Heath Ledger at 28. So there are no guarantees.
