Would you suggest cutting tax rates to zero? If you cut tax rates to zero - would that bring in more money?

If you reduce taxes and do not make the spending cuts - you by definition increase taxes for people in the future. Twice now republicans have cut taxes and told us it would bring in more money and in fact it did NOT. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".

Under the best of days, created by the mess Greenspan created, we increased our indebtedness to numbers that mortal humans can no longer comprehend. Now that it looks like we are entering a slowdown - tax receipts are going to plummet (read house sales) and debt levels are going to explode. It is now that we should cut taxes - but of course that makes the debt worse and worse. It's a mess - largely made by reckless tax cutting.
