I think Al Qaeda in Iraq has forced the tribal people to set aside that nonsense for now and is resulting in something resembling a peace. How long that will last I don't know. To be perfectly honest and blunt and probably raciest or anti Muslim I could easily wipe that area and that religion from the planet with nuclear weapons and any other force required. I think ultimately this is a religious war and we just haven't admitted it. We are watching Europe being taken over in front of our eyes and over half our population isn't believing what they are seeing or hearing. Personally when someone tells me I need to convert, be enslaved or killed I get the urge to kill them first. It doesn't seem to be a reaction the vast majority of us have anymore and it's the reason Europe will be bowing to Mecca 5 times daily in a generation or less.
