jim, whether the video is factual or not is actually a moot point. the whole argument of govt vs. corporate control of the medical system is moot. the real problem is that the US govt has been bribed to look the other way when pharmas abuse the populace at large. just look at the trouble that the whistleblowers at the FDA faced when they outed the corruption in that organization. we face similar problems in canada. the scientific community and medical journals have also been captured by the pharma companies. they spend a few bucks to pocket these groups, and reap billions in return. therein lies the real problem. to further exacerbate the problem you/we have a population that does not take full responsibility for exercising preventative health care, thus it is simply a large easy target for these corporations. as per usual corporations and government have teamed up to create a false problem that diverts the populace and creates yet another ponzi scheme.
