THAT doesn't strike you as a negative history in the man you would want as president of your country? As I already said if he was apolitical for some time of his life, it doesn't bother me a bit. Being intensly political isn't a big positive. Its probably a requirement by the time he actually becomes president, but for decades before that? Not really a plus. And of course on top of that I have no real reason to think he was apolitical at that time. And if he was apolitical that doesn't indicate a lack of "any sense of duty or adventure, any intellectual curiosity, any empathy or compassion" or Teddy Kennedy?
