It's doesn't feel like 76 to me but it will if either of the socialists get in there and take away the tax breaks and increase taxes. Then you'll get a taste of 76 or perhaps even the 30's.

As to Romney next to Thompson I agree with him the most on positions that matter to me. I can agree with McCain on some things but his immigration stance makes him a no go for me. I also dislike his temperament and don't feel his vindictive ass who angers and flies off with ease is the guy I want running the nuclear show.

Romney's record of turning around MA and then taking over the failure at the Olympics to turn that around into a wild success means to me he is just the guy we need at the economic switch now.

I don't think that any of us are fanatical about Romney. I can say flat out that I disagree with some of his positions. The reason I support him however is because I believe the biggest issue that we face today is the economy and this to a great extent has an effect on how we'll deal with lesser issues. I think Romney is the best one when it comes to the economy. He's got a long term economic vision and he'll know how to stick with it.

next President will be a 1 termer because they'll be in office only to oversee some rough economic times.

Even more important that Romney is beholding to no one that might sway his decisions when dealing with special interests etc...
