Second, perhaps you didn't read my post? I did read your post. What I didn't find in there was a rationale for why being a frat-boy cheerleader is disqualifying. First, I didn't suggest he should have been "focused on politics throughout his entire previous life." That was my attempt to find the converse of your insistence that he should have been engaged during his frat-boy days because I had already used the that language in the post. So I flipped it in my last sentence rather than be boring and repetitive. Guess I should have just left that sentence off. Sorry if it came across as an attempted distortion. Maybe not; here's a test...which one of the 5 did NOT look pre-presidential? I don't know what the Kennedy boys did in college and I'm too lazy to research it just so I can respond to this point. Suffice to say that Bush at no time has Bush looked pre-presidential or presidential to me other than in the immediate aftermath of 9/11.
