Torque and Load were measured in Lbs.

Sorry, but you are being sloppy again. Torque has to have distance as well, like Ft-lbs, it CANNOT be measured as just lbs.

The accident

Challenger wasn't exactly an accident was it? I was on a ski vacation at the time, and saw it on TV at a cafe.

Subsequent investigation showed all the facts and risks were known before launch.

Is that correct??
