You are mistaking socialism for dictatorship. China and Russia before it were not socialist or communist, they were dictatorships with a command economy. The actual socialist countries are doing great. All the Scandinavian ones, England, France and so on that the right wing hates are beating our butts in the world market because we continue to believe your myth of capitalism. Command economies can also do well if they are benevolent, but that doesn't last long.
