Traveling hasn't been fun since 9/11 and it just gets worse. A couple years ago, my daughter who won't fly, came to see me on a train. Her comments about that trip really made my want to try it myself. Get up and wander around, meet new people, see the scenery, get a snack or drink. Doesn't sound bad to me, provided one has the time. We're all in too much of a hurry.
