Ron Paul never expected to get the nomination. I believe his whole candidacy was about ideas, about reminding the Republican party what it used to stand for..and maybe getting it to turn just a little bit in that direction. You just admit he has had an impact. People are paying attention. I would think he could quit right now and consider his candidacy a huge success. He could then return to Texas and win yet another congressional term with more than 60% of the vote, as he does each time out...
