Romney was asked whether the POTUS is required to have served in the military.

I s'pose the follow up question was whether Romney had ever been a POW. LOL

I agree. Too much is made of McCains military experience but it's not to be sneered at either and Romney knows that.
One of the things that reflects Romneys character is his respect for the military. Like I said earlier somewhere, CinC is more about the strategic picture anyway and I think MR has that base to build on. The economic problems we face as a country are much more demanding and require long acquired depth to be good at resolving.
