I sent Rhonda an email as soon as the news hit yesterday. So far I have not received a reply. How much time does IR usually take to reply?

Ted M, good find on the 10Q.......

The Company is currently implementing contracts with major automakers and Tier One Suppliers as well as providing quotes for these companies as well as their competitors. Due to the highly competitive nature of the automotive industry, the Company’s clients have asked that no information with respect to the size and nature of the contracts be revealed to the general public and by extension their competitors. The Company will every quarter publish revenues and profits over the course of the next year.

And I think someone else here (or on RB) stated that there was only so much KSI could grow. They were doing somewhere around $3M/year, Marc had once mentioned getting rid of some of the lower-margin business and bringing in different, higher-margin work. I think the estimate was they could get to $5M/year running three shifts. The recent estimate for Q1 was $1.25M/quarter, and we know KSI is going 24/7 five days a week plus one shift on Saturday/Sunday. If this $550k is all new work not included in that $1.25M/quarter estimate, then I think it's a fair assumption that LACC work is being done and is increasing. Even if only a portion of the $550k is actually new work, it would indicate to me an increase in LACC jobs. That being said, it looks like the small PPAP orders are now turning into slightly larger orders. Still not major million $$$ contracts, but growth nonetheless.

The eternal question: Is growth out-pacing dilution? We'll find out in the next couple of months. Volume has slowed quite a bit from last October when none of us knew what was going on, there doesn't appear to be a large quantity of new shares hitting the market. The last time there was a slight spike in volume at the beginning of the year, the PPS was going up, not down like late October '07. It will be interesting to see what happens when the 144 shares become un-restricted later this year.
