Hi Tom, There's the Pro angler side,the boater and the amature side, the non-boater angler. Lets hope I draw some of the top elite anglers like VanDam or Skeet Reese etc.....I want to be hooked up with the best, most all of the top pros will be on the big fish....I just stay in the back of the boat and fish, they do the chauffeuring!<g> The pay is pretty good too. We compete against the other non-boaters, I think there are 108 boats? 1st....$25K 2nd....$10K 3rd....$5K 4th....$3.5K 5th....$3K 12th...$1k 13-25..$750 26-50..$500 It's going to be very fun and educational....We have dinner together and do the partner draw the night before the event Before that the pros have their wrapped boats out in the lot where they meet the public. I might bring my own boat down...as a non-boater I don't need to practice...but I may stay at Lake Amistad another week after the Elites to fish a couple small ABA tournies the following weekend. ....Falcon and Amistad are premier lake for big bass....records may be broken? ClearLake records may be hard to break....but Falcon is the place to do it? 30lb-40lb sacks common.( 5 fish)....40+ not so common but likely?
