I completely agree with you about being involved and how important this election is. Your sentiment is honorable.

What I object to is the tone of your initial post, which was very negative and aggressive- and personal.

So How MANY of YOU worked locally and further up... ?

So , I can I place any faith on what any of YOU say here...

Not a helluva of alot..

Until you say otherwise..

My goodness! I know my reaction was who is he to require me to fill out an application for approval? Instead of demanding everyone meet some kind of test for YOU, why not say,
"this is such an important election. Sure hope everyone is getting actively involved in some way. Words without action won't get us far! I plan on doing such and such..."

Judging by the turnouts for the primaries, people ARE getting involved. At this point, however, many are still weighing and measuring before committing to a particular campaign. And studying the information and analysis on this thread offers one way of doing this. The name of the thread is VIEW from the center, not WHO DID YOU STUMP FOR TODAY!
Maybe you don't hear the tone of your posts when they imply everyone is somehow inferior to you? It raises hackles, rather than a willingness to share.
