Truthseeker, the "government" cannot reveal any of its' covert fronts or clandestine operations. Richard Labeviere, in Dollars for Terror disclosed that Mercy International was allegedly a “subsidiary of the Muslim Brotherhood" and was able to "establish its headquarters in the United States, in the state of Michigan, with the assistance of the CIA.". Mercy was created to help bin Laden finance clandestine operations in Afghanistan. The "government" also has the testimony of Suliman al-Ali, who Tony's brother Khaled was involved with in the IIRO. al-Ali tesified that he sent almost $200,000 to Mercy International in Canada and that it was a "branch" of the Michigan-based "Mercy International". In Dollars for Terror it was disclosed that, "Branches of this charity in different countries have slightly different names such as Mercy International-USA and Mercy International Relief Agency..." The same is true of Mother Teresa. Tony's lawyers are apparently trying to exploit the government's inability to reveal government covert and clandestine operations. That is my opinion why the court never allowed Tony's terror ties into the trial. That is why the "government", imo, attempts to "debunk" Lozeman's testimony regarding the Mercy terror financing front. A prime example is the repetition that a charity to which Mr. Elgindy contributed, Mercy International, was linked to al Qaeda terrorism, see Government’s Brief, at 36, 42, while the government knows full well (and even mentions, id., at 37) that a subsequent report “debunked the alleged connection between Mercy USA and Mercy International”. lma(zz)o who is lozeman? uh oh, is that a typo from tonys reply brief on appeal, or are you actually referencing someone other than who we were discussing? come on, produce the govt 178 page brief in opposition, or at least the LOZEMAN interview you mentioned instead of using tonys sappy reply brief on appeal. oh, you didn't answer if fane traveled with tony. i doubt very much that fane rode anyones coattail! what's that i hear ... a snork machine? sec.gov
