I have no problem with lbs being IN the unit of measure. I have a problem with torque being measured in lbs. It is measured in lb-ft or lb-inches, etc.

Just because Thomas did not mention the lever length does not mean he did not know it was there.

Once again all ear2earfeces can do is babble on about units. The original post was in a dialog concerning English vs Metric units and my actual engineering work for NASA. All ear2earfeces can babble about is what. Torque and load are measured using the English units of lbs. Yes torque uses lbs with the unit of ft or in but load does not.

And all ear2earfeces can say about global warming is that I cannot understand how CO2 can heat the atmosphere.

So once again I ask the lying ear2earfeces neolib to explain or point to the explanation of how CO2 can drive global climate warming.

And stupid lying ear2earfeces, I did not ask how CO2 can heat the atmosphere. And by the way all real world measurements show no heating of the atmosphere with a temperature profile predicted with the current CO2 hoax models.

So once again I ask the lying ear2earfeces neolib to explain or point to the explanation of how CO2 can drive global climate warming.
